UST Closures & Removals

UST Closures & Removals

SPCI manages underground storage tank (UST) closures and removals across Florida under FDEP regulations. From closure assessment and tank-removal coordination to confirmation sampling and contamination evaluation, our licensed geologists handle the regulatory side of taking a tank out of service—documenting clean closure or transitioning the site into assessment and remediation when contamination is found. UST closure is where environmental compliance and field work meet, and it's core to our practice under the Petroleum Restoration Program.
